Nothing new, ” It’s all about the user” . I heard it in business school 25 years ago.
But this time it seems to be getting more and more true.

On the radio I heard a commercial from the government announcing a new site for enterpreneurs and the possibility to comment on overly bureaucratic procedures. Talk about a change in posture!

What is happening in the world because of the internet, is starting to influence the way businesses behave.
The internet connects the end-consumer to the business, giving it a DIRECT line to a business. Cost of cummunicating went down. Smart businesses (and governments) react on this.

Now the thing is that this is also true for users. And more, cost of collaboration went down. Where you used to find a business in the yellow pages, call and get a quotation, now you can see a result in just a minute, plus a review about the product and more. it’s not a choice of three prices anymore.  It’s a comparisson of all who were smart enough to get into the list you selected.

The user is in power. But what does he want?
When you know that, and can supply in that need, you’re in business.
